Its setting is a huge city with five unique but connected neighborhoods. There are 3 game modes in this demo. Tip off comrades about the hottest racing spots in town and foil rivals’ attempts at beating you on the streets. Whatever you do, just don’t end up in second for Speed Underground 2’s graphics obviously can’t stand up to some of the more recent street car racing releases. In comparison, they look a little blurry and pixellated. True fans of the series will want to play all of the games though, and this one has enough intensity and excitement to perhaps make up for the weaker for Speed Underground 2 is a high-speed street racing experience any car enthusiast will appreciate.
I am told that, among Need for Speed fans, Need for Speed Underground 2 is something of a favorite. So, I say to all those fans still playing without this patch, you should download it now because this improves one of your favorite racing games.

Unless you are one of those gamers that is in to patch update logs, then most game updates tend to be quite dull. But, while it may not be glamorous, the Need for Speed Underground 2s patch adds a good range of performance improvements to fine tune this high-performance racing game.
First up, it improves the games multiplayer, optimizing online play and removing the frequent crashes many players suffered on older Windows machines (such as Windows 98 and ME). Also, for players who enjoy racing in the game room, the patch removes the need for an internet connection to host local games over LAN.
A new paint job
Also worthy of note is a fix for the game’s online reputation system. If you have been unfairly flagged for your behavior by the game, this patch removes the visible icon that alerted players to your (unfairly?) alleged misdeeds. This isn’t perfect, as it means you can’t see the people who really have been naughty online – but it does feel more fair than punishing people due to server errors.
Of course no real racing upgrade would be complete without a shiny new coat of paint. Providing you have a relevantly modes graphics card (Need for Speed Underground 2 is now over 10 years old), the patch will offer you access to upgrade visuals when running the game at higher resolutions.
A good tune up
Need for Speed Underground 2’s patch is essential if, for some reason, you are still playing Need for SpeedUnderground 2. It makes the game engine purr like a kitten in a sea of catnip, and removes the majority of serious bugs that may have been impeding your enjoyment of this racing classic.
