DJ Mixer Pro is an audio application allowing you to mix music files like a interface of DJ Mixer Pro is similar to other DJ apps like Traktor, with two ‘decks’ where your tracks play, a series of controls similar to that of a physical mixer all sitting on a file tree and music library. While it is superficially similar, DJ Mixer Pro’s dark interface is much less clear and more cluttered than the competition. The BPM detection works well, as does the sync feature. There is an auto-mix button, but strangely this doesn’t automatically sync beats, making it little use! You’ll find a crossfader, pitch controls and levels, and they all work fine, but are simply not as user friendly as those of other all, DJ Mixer Pro is a perfectly workable DJ mixing application that fails simply by not being up to the standards of either the free or paid competing software.
DJ Mixer Express gives you a set of easy to use digital decks to create marvelous (or monstrous) mash-ups of your favorite mp3s.

DJ Mixer Expresss interface will no doubt be familiar to anyone who has used a similar audio tool before. The top section of the screen features all of the options you would expect from such an audio tool, with two virtual desks, volume, speed, pan, filters, and other controls. The lower section of the screen provides a data base of your music, as well as timelines to show each individual track you are playing.
Even if you are a DJ yet to enter the digital age, it will not feel completely foreign. Apart from having to manipulate everything at the top of the screen with a cursor, it still works exactly as you would expect on physical decks right down to being able to scratch. Similarly the bottom of the screen is basically your record library, and what it lacks in tactile joy it more than makes up for with its handy search function.
Mix master
There are a host of filters in DJ Mixer Express, which are joined by many other effects such as brake reproduction and delay. Other useful additions include auto panning and loops to add a little extra polish to your creation. The programs automatic BPM detection also provides a handy tool for both new and veteran DJs.
I dont want to stop DJ
The trial version of DJ Mixer Express only gives you 20 minutes to play with its various tools or, in other words, enough to start but not finish a project. It does, however, give you a good taste of what is on offer leaving it to you to decide if its the tool for you.
